REEF VIDEO: Fresh from the Philippines

As one of the six countries that make up the Coral Triangle, a celebrated region of marine biodiversity, the Philippines are home to an incredible variety of sea creatures of all sizes. With its 7,640 islands, this ocean nation has no shortage of sights to explore, both topside and underwater.

Alex Rose, a multi-talented member of the AMAZONAS team who is now joining CORAL Magazine‘s staff as well, recently visited Dumaguete, the capital of the province of Negros Oriental, Philippines, and came home with a hard drive full of critter content from ten days of scuba diving at Atlantis Dive Resort (https://atlantishotel.com/).

The dive sites surrounding the resort are known for their diverse array of macro subjects, but not even an hour-long boat ride away are the expansive, healthy reefs of Apo Island.
