Introducing the new patent-pending Clutch Clip design by Bob Bittner of Reef Stew & More. We are excited to be a part of this innovative project. The unique Clutch Clip design of the Plant Gripper™ provides a new way of mounting to secure plants in your freshwater aquarium. No lead weights, and no damage to roots or rhizomes. Plant Grippers are fully reusable and easy to hide.

Reef Stew has chosen to work with Vivid Creative Aquatics (VCA), a leader of the additive manufacturing space within the aquarium hobby. VCA will assist in the design, manufacture and marketing of the new Plant Gripper™.

Reef Stew delivered the very first Plant Grippers to local shops in the Phoenix, AZ market today (8/8/19), with an MSRP of $14.95 for a package of 10; Plant Gripper comes with 10 Grippers & 10 ceramic plugs. The plugs are used as weights for freshwater plants. Aquarium retailers and local fish shops wishing to carry Plant Grippers can contact Reef Stew for wholesale pricing (reefstew@msn.com or call or text 602-290-3469). Online retail ordering will be available soon but direct retail orders are already being accepted.

The Clutch Clip in the Plant Gripper can handle a wide array of plant material.
