Reef Patrol is back with an incredible short film of coastal Guam.

Reef Patrol is back with an incredible short film of coastal Guam.

Reef Patrol’s Vanessa Cara-Kerr has been on our radar for a few years now; it’s fair to say she has grown to excel at her craft. The latest Reef Patrol creation is a catchy, edgy, and downright epic three-minute visual feast of oceanic life in Guam. GUAM – from Mantas to Coral Fluorescence is a short film that’s not to be missed.

Savage beauty can be found under the surface along Guam's coast.

As shared by Reef Patrol:

“We went to #GUAM #MICRONESIA to film the Secore International coral restoration & reproduction workshop and are working like crazy on the films that will be published soon, but we couldn’t resist making a short Guam #MOOD #FILM, as the scenery was utterly beautiful. Don’t get me started on the #MANTARAYS and the mind blowing #CORAL #FLUORESCENCE! Check it out for yourself…”

Coral spawning is the reason Reef Patrol and SECORE were on location.

Manta Rays are a prominent feature of this latest film from Reef Patrol.

Cara-Kerr has shared fluorescent dive footage before, but the scale of the shots in this film are jarringly impressive.

Indeed, check out the Manta Rays, the spawning corals, night UV diving, Reticulated Butterflyfish, Crown of Thorns, and endless views of Guam from above and below the water.
