Aquatic products manufacturer Aqueon has launched their new QuietFlow™ “E” internal power filters in an update to their existing line of QuietFlow™ filters. Versatile and efficient, these filters can be used in almost any aquarium application and mount to the glass with either suction cups or included mounting bracket. The compact yet powerful filter includes 3-stage filtration featuring a coarse media sponge for mechanical filtration, an activated carbon-filled cartridge for water clarification and removal of chemical impurities, and Aqueon’s patented Bio-Holster for biological filtration.

With their compact size and low-profile design, the QuietFlow™ E filters are ideal for use in not only aquariums but also ripariums, paludariums, or other semi-aquatic setups featuring a lower water level. Simple maintenance, including easy-to-replace, top-loading media, makes these filters a perfect option for busy aquarium owners, and the smaller models (rated for 3- and 10-gallon tanks, respectively) will be of particular interest to hobbyists running multiple nano aquariums or those involved in keeping and breeding smaller fish species.

The QuietFlow™ E Internal Power Filters are available in four sizes, rated from 3 to 40 gallons total capacity. Look for them at your local aquarium retailer in the coming weeks, and for more information visit www.aqueonproducts.com/products/

I honestly dislike a lot this filter, It takes out to much space, it´s not that good looking and there´s no big difference with the Hang on back version. I was very dissapointed when I got it.
To me, it´s pointless to do buy one of these considering the amount of variety and pluses of other filters, other than a good price, I don´t recommend this filter.
