The new DL Black Box Controllers from Milwaukee Instruments feature the latest tech at a budget-friendly price point
Milwaukee Instruments recently introduced its new, budget-friendly line of DL Black Box data logging controllers with remote Wi-Fi system management. The new line includes monitoring and controlling capabilities for pH, temperature, ORP (Oxygen Redox Potential), and IDC (Independent Dosing Control). Easy to set up, these devices have a number of aquarium applications, including accurate CO2 dosing and pH control in freshwater planted aquaria and maintaining pH stability and ozone dosing in marine systems. An EC/TDS enabled model planned for release later this year will also add salinity monitoring and control to the robust capabilities of this series.

The power controller box included with the unit can be used to control CO2 injection, liquid dosing via a peristaltic dosing pump, and ozone dosing
The units include all relevant probes or electrodes and a power controller box, which hooks up to either a solenoid (in the case of CO2 injection) or a dosing pump for pH control in a marine setting. Milwaukee Instruments’ original pH controller has long been an industry standard used in commercial or large home systems, but the added WiFi functionality of this unit represents a significant step forward, allowing for detailed data collection and the increasingly important ability to view and monitor water parameters from anywhere. A unique alarm system—with user-defined “Normal,” “Caution,” and “Critical” levels—activates different color status lights on the face of the unit and sends text or email alerts to the user 24/7. Long favored in the scientific and professional communities for reliability and accuracy, the Black Box series includes automatic temperature compensation and built-in probe diagnostics, so the unit will alert users with an error message if it detects an inaccurate reading or an improperly calibrated probe.

The DL125 monitors and controls pH, temperature, and ORP while logging data for each of these important parameters
With a suggested retail price point starting at $280.00, the Black Box series offers professional-level control and monitoring for both marine and freshwater systems at a budget-friendly price.

The statement that pH controllers have long been employed in big household systems or in commercial settings as industry standards is really intriguing. I work in the business sector, and my organisation is looking for alternatives to the increasingly crucial capability to examine and monitor water parameters from anywhere. To ensure things go smoothly, I’d want to advise my boss to use the pH controller service.
