30 Jun, 2016
bioGraphic Magazine, powered by the California Academy of Sciences, recently released an artful look at the sensory world of the nocturnal American Lobster, Homarus americanus.
As an example of what’s in store for the viewer, consider that the “Social Life of Lobsters” is summarized as: “I’d hate to say this, but for lobsters, it’s a pissing contest. Lobster’s greet each other with a squirt…from the bladder. What’s in that urine is something like, ‘Hi, I’m Bob and I fought you yesterday.'”
Watch The Lobster and its Amazing Noses. It’s 5 minutes that will change your view of lobsters forever.
