Astonishing River Biotope Tank

If you think you’ve seen everything in the world of freshwater aquariums, behold this: A “Torrent Tank” that mimics the rapids in a South American stream or shallow river.

Ichthyologist Dr. Mark Sabaj Perez visits with Leandro Sousa from Brazil and calls the system “Truly unique.”

The two scientists were visiting the gallery of Panta Rhei Aquatics on the occasion of the 3rd International L-Number days in Hanover, Germany.

AMAZONAS translator and Senior Editor Stephan M. Tanner, Ph.D., was onhand for this conference and commends the video to readers of the magazine.
